I offer tutoring in National 5 and Higher mathematics and National 5 applications of mathematics, National 5 and Higher Accounting, National 5 and Higher Physics and National 5 and Higher Economics. If these courses apply to your situation then you can book a session. I can also offer support to students of younger ages in s1-s3 with mathematics. I can also support first year university students studying Accounting and Finance.

Lessons are typically online but I can visit houses in the Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire area but this will incur an extra cost for fuel depending on the distance. Send a message to my Phone number or email and this can easily be arranged. Lessons online are set at £20 per hour but in person lessons can be up to £40 per hour.

Lessons are typically 1 hour long but this can be flexible by just booking an extra hour on the schedule if you are wanting extra time.

I measure progress by setting regular assessments, practise questions and tests and providing lesson feedback. I also set homework to see how the student gets on with work outside of the lessons.

I am currenly a 3rd year Accounting and Finance student at the University of Aberdeen and after my 1st year I was awarded the Whyte prize for the best performing Accounting and Finance student in the year. At my time in school I studied National 5 Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Modern studies, applications of maths and Higher Accounting in 4th year in which I received straight As. In 5th year I studied Higher Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry and Economics in which I also received straight As. I have 2 years of relevant tutoring experience, tutoring 15 different students in a variety of subjects.

Lessons can be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less notice may be charged.

Students will only need a stable connection and access to Zoom. A calculator will be required for maths-related topics.

Whilst most tutors just go over boring past papers and let the student run the lesson, I like to make it more interactive and have a broad plan that me and the student will go through. I want the students the get the most out of the lessons and most of all relieve the stress that comes with exams by preparing the students effectuively. I am very adaptable at changing my teaching methods to meet the needs of the student.
